THE QURAN IS THE HOLY BOOK

Just like the Torah in Judaism and the Bible in Christianity, the Quran is the holy book within the Islamic faith. 

The literal meaning of the Quran in English would be “The Recitation” and Muslims believe that these are the words of Allah, revealed to Muhammad (the last prophet) through Archangel Gabriel.
